17-18 June, 2010 The conference consists of two rounds. The first round will be held in Ternopil National Economic University (Ternopil, Ukraine) 17-18 June 2010.

We greet at our external examiner, Prof.Peter van der Hoek (Erasmus University, Rotterdam, Netherlands) at the Ukrainian-Dutch Faculty of Economics and Management. During his stay at our faculty, Mr. van der Hoek will check the Bachelor papers, submitted by our fourth-year students. The successful students will be presented with the certificates of the Erasmus University, proving the fulfillment of the Bachelor Programme in Business Education, which is equal to the similar programmes in Eastern Europe.

Within the frames of Agreement between TNEU and Jagiellonian University (Krakow) the lecturers from Jagiellonian University (faculty of administration and law) has arrived in TNEU to conduct some lectures and practical educational courses from the Polish and European Law.

The delegation from Dortmund University of Applied Arts and Sciences, Germany, represented by Prof. Wilhelm Schwick, Prof. Gisela Schaefer-Richter, Prof. Uwe Grossmann, Mr. Raimond Filges visited Research Institute of Intelligent Computer Systems (ICS).

The WTO launched on 2 March the 2010 Essay Award for Young Economists. The Award aims to promote high-quality research on the WTO and WTO-related issues among young economists and to reinforce the relationship between the WTO and the academic community.

VOLUNTEER INTERNSHIP PROGRAM The American Bar Association Rule of Law Initiative (ABA ROLI) is a public service project of the American Bar Association that advances the rule of law in the world by supporting the legal reform process in the world. ABA ROLI has its headquarters in Washington, D.C. with ABA programs in over 50 countries world-wide and has maintained a resident office in Ukraine since 1992.

On May, 18 – 25th on invitation of university administration delegation of researchers in higher educational establishment was stay in Ternopil National Economic University.

Lecture "Integration of Ukraine in European educational space" was held in Ternopil National Economic University on May 25th, 2010.

II Ukrainian-Polish Students Forum took place in Ternopil National Economic University, on May, 21-22th, 2010. Forum was a ‘live’ meeting of Ukrainian and Polish students, allowing them to get to know one another and to discuss different projects.
