Introduction of the Bologna Process in Ukraine

 Processes of the European integration all influence such important sphere of a life of the Ukrainian society, as formation more strongly. Bologna process in Ukraine has officially begun on May, 19th, 2005 with signing the declaration on Bergen conferences.

 For today 45 European countries inclusive with Ukraine have signed of the Bologna declaration which marks necessity of the European cooperation for maintenance of qualities of higher education, increase of qualities of experts preparation, strengthening of trust between subjects of formation, mobility, compatibility of systems of qualifications, strengthening of competitiveness of the European education system.

There is the far of problems of Ukrainian higher education in a bologna user structure:

·      Surplus amount of educational directions and specialties, accordingly 76 and 584. The best world systems of higher education have less in 5 times.

 ·     Insufficient confession in society of level “bachelor” as qualifying level, his unclaimed ness by a domestic economy.

 ·     Tendency threatening in the mass measuring to worsening of qualities of higher education that grows in course of time.

 ·     Increase of break of communication between teachers and employers, between the sphere of education and labor-market.

 ·     Unjustified mess in understanding of levels of specialist and master's degree. 

 ·     We reconciled oneself to with neglect by front-rank scientific researches in establishments educations which are basis of university preparation. Our system of scientific degrees difficult in comparison with European, that complicates mobility of teachers and researches workers in Europe.

 ·     Inadequately to the necessities of society and labour-market the fate of such widespread link of education is settled, as technical schools and colleges, this at that their quantity in the state in four times greater, than HEI III and IV levels of accreditation of together taken.

 ·     The system of the in-plant and retraining training organized for the centralized economy stepped back in the pas once well. New system that would satisfy the necessities of market economy, it is not created in Ukraine. That is why very important European principle “education through all life” so far in the conditions of our state can not be in a complete measure realized.

 ·     The universities of Ukraine do not undertake the role of methodological centers, innovators, piones of public transformations which a country must go after. Level of autonomy of HEI in these questions considerably more low from European.
