 The staff of the Department of Physical Rehabilitation and Sports of WUNU trains specialists in the following educational program: Physical Culture and Sports


During their studies, in addition to general disciplines, students study the following professional disciplines: Human Anatomy with the Basics of Sports Morphology; Athletic Gymnastics; Hygiene in Sports; Gymnastics; Martial Arts; General Theory of Training Athletes; Athletics (running); Athletics (technical types); Metrological Control; Olympic and Professional Sports; Fundamentals of Professional and Applied Physical Training; Sports Pedagogy; Professional Skills of the Coach; Sports Physiology; Sports Games and Teaching Methods (basketball 3*3); Sports Games and Teaching Methods (basketball); Sports Games and Teaching Methods (volleyball); Sports Games and Teaching Methods (handball); Sports Games and Teaching Methods (football); Sports Facilities; Modern Fitness Technologies; Theory and Methods of Children's and Youth Sports; Theory and Methods of Sports Training; Adaptation in Sports; Winter Sports and Teaching Methods; History of the Olympic Movement; History of Sports Movement of Ukraine; Cultural Heritage of the Olympic Movement; Marketing of Sports Events; Marketing in the Field of Physical Education and Sports; Medical and Biological Aspects of Physical Education and Sports; Table Tennis; Non-Olympic Sports; Non-Traditional Sports; Olympic Education; Fundamentals of Medical Knowledge; Basics of Physical Self-Defense; Swimming; Psychological Activity in Sports; Psychology of Sports; Psychophysiology; Moving Games; Sports Medicine; Sports Marketing; Sports Tourism; Sports Games and Teaching Methods (futsal); Modern Means and Methods of Training Athletes; Theory and Methods of Power Types; Physical Recreation.


After graduating from the Department, graduates can hold the following positions: coaches in the chosen sport.


The department actively cooperates with the following institutions and organizations: PI "Borshchiv Children's and Youth Sports School", PI "Complex Children and Youth Sports School of Game Sports" in Ternopil, PI "Nadvirna CYSS of the Department of Education of Nadvirna RSA", SDYUSSHOR trade union committee Navtokhimik Prykarpattya”, Novokakhovka Children's and Youth Sports School, Tavriya, Ternopil School of Higher Sportsmanship, Ternopil Regional CYSS, Dobrotvir CYSS Municipal Complex, Complex CYSS on Water Sports of Ternopil City Council, "Meteor" of Dnipro City Council, where students also have the opportunity to gain practical experience, participate in internships, and gain employment.
