 Course description  Modern managers confront an enduring set of dilemmas, problems, and issues day-in and day-out in all organizations. How do you keep communication lines open? How do you reconcile the interests and needs of constituents and clients and the professional discretion of staff? How do you coordinate and stabilize the work of the organization and open responsibilities for individual initiative and ongoing organizational learning? How do you think through norms of control and the establishment of democratic organizations? To shed light on these questions, research and theory about self-organizing and self-managing defined a set of concepts, e.g., personality, self-leadership, self-awareness, e, decision-making,.
This course will explore the ways, in which managers can learn the psychological theories concerning important issues and the ways of using them in practice.

 Learning outcomes At the end of the course, students are expected to:
- Master basic methodological issues in self-management, international experience, learn the basic methods of data collection, processing, and analysis of survey;
- Form a complete system of theoretical knowledge of self-management;
- Learn to explain, evaluate, synthesize the knowledge of personality;
- Grasp and consolidate the theoretical knowledge obtained during lectures;
 Acquire skills of practical use of theoretical knowledge in practice.
