 Course description  The purpose of discipline "Money and Credit" is the formation of future specialists system of basic, fundamental knowledge of the theory of money, credit and banking. This discipline provides the formation of students’ theoretical and methodological framework that will be needed for further learning to use monetary tools and the basics of the banking business and interaction with the institutions of the financial system.

 Learning outcomes - be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of money essence, their functions, forms, the place and role in the economy;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual framework structure of currency, money supply, its main indicators, monetary emission mechanism. To be able to make settlements of money supply indicators, velocity of money;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of the nature, structure and of peculiarities of functioning of the money market. To apply mathematical tools to develop the theoretical foundations of the main parameters of the money market;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of the nature, structure and types of monetary systems, features of state regulation of monetary sphere. To analyze the effectiveness of the regulating instruments of the monetary sphere;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of inflation nature, its causes, effects and features to overcome;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of the loan nature, its forms, types and functions;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual basis of the credit system nature; know principles of its organization and maintenance of its main elements;
- be able to critically comprehend conceptual foundations of international monetary relations. To be able to use the basic knowledge about of currency transactions.
